Welcome to Delta Draconis, the yellow star dragon.

As you read and listen to the 10-minute story meditation, simply get your child to breathe in and out throughout the meditation, but when they breathe out ask them to imagine they are blowing out yellow breath, this will calm and relax your child, and prepare them for a better sleep.

Introducing Delta Draconis, she is the yellow star dragon, from the Draco star constellation. And in this imaginative story meditation, Delta Draconis, takes your child on an imaginative magical journey to Antarctica, with her friend Adelie, the penguin.

We travel down to Antarctica where we enter the deep blue sea, to reach caves with penguin colonies, and rare fish and crustacean species, ready to hatch out of their eggs. We take your child on a meditation story, to help them use their imagination. This will create a safe space for their brain to process emotions and stress dump, and fully embrace everything their imagination allows them to.

With each meditation we use specific breathing techniques and ask your child to imagine they must blow out yellow breath so Delta, the yellow star dragon will come down from her star. Along with imagination, this calms their mind, and this gives them the strength and skill to overcome their uncomfortable emotions in life, as the breathing, plus imagination switches on the Vagus nerve.

Each dragon is a special dragon for your child, who is going to help them sleep peacefully and free from nightmares. The trick of the meditation story is to use the breathing techniques given throughout the 10 min story, and with Delta Draconis we use yellow breathing.

The breathing technique empties your child’s brain of adrenalin and refills it full of oxygen and your child will become calm, relaxed and more confident, whilst enjoying an amazing imaginative meditation story.
